| KERZHAKOV: I WANT TO SEE MORE PRACTICE
Alexander Kerzhakov comments on Sevilla’s failure to knock out Barcelona from the Spanish Cup.
Sevilla were one step from paving their way into the Spanish Cup quarterfinals as goalless draw combined with 1-1 home draw against Barcelona left them aside.
Russian forward Alexander Kerzhakov entered the return game on the 69th minute and didn’t manage to topsy-turn the match.
"We showed good football and could have sealed the victory", said Kerzhakov to Sport Express.
"Jesus Navas found the target closer to the final whistle, but the referees denied his goal."
"I think it was not the lucky day for Spanish internationals, while Xavi and Andres Iniesta are among Barcelona leading players this season."
"They go among leaders in the national team too so I think Russia will have enough problems to solve when we come up against Spain at Euro-2008 play-offs."
"Nevertheless I have no doubts we will stand good chances to steal the victory from the Spanish opposition."

Alexander Kerzhakov commenta l'eliminazione del suo Sevilla a vantaggio di un Barça che mette paura all'attaccante russo soprattutto in chiave Euro 2008,visto che sarà difficile avere una rivincita coi blaugrana,davvero lontani in campionato.Sarebbe più facile una rivincita in Champions' League,dove entrambe le formazioni hanno ben impressionato.Giocatori come Xavi ed Iniesta,Puyol,ma anche Sergio Ramos e Casillas,stanno disputando una grande stagione,ma Kerzha,consapevole del compito suo e dei compagni,non dispera di causare qualche grattacapo alle Furie Rosse,da sempre allergiche alle grandi manifestazioni a pari della squadra di Guus Hiddink.
Kerzhakov si attende anche un maggior utilizzo da Jimenez,altrimenti pare chiaro il messaggio:intende cercare fortuna altrove,ma sempre in Europa.
