| TYMOSCHUK GETS THE HIGHEST MARKS FROM SPORT EXPRESS
Anatoly Tymoschuk has been voted Premier League best supporting midfielder.
Sport Express experts voted Zenit captain Anatoly Tymoschuk as the best supporting midfielder of the Russian championship-2008.
"It’s very pleasant that my performance attracts so much attention from sport journalists and supporters, but only the head coach can give a real mark to player’s display", said Tymoschuk to Sport Express.
"Today many people believe that this season was not successful for Zenit. But some day everybody will forget about the fifth place in Premier League table and will remember only our victories in the UEFA Cup and Super Cup".
"Zenit failed to get through to the top three, because we didn’t seal enough points for that. Dynamo and Amkar could fully concentrate on the national championship, while we got tired a bit by the end of the season".
"Our team makes constant growth, and I am sure we need to move further and reach a new level. Much will depend on our results, our targets and development of the club infrastructure".
