Si incomincia con Ufa - Sovetov Preview: CITAZIONE Despite Marvin Pourie scoring Ufa's fastest ever Premier League goal after four minutes in Kazan last week, the youngest top-flight club still look inexperienced after notching their fifth defeat in seven games. They are still not to win at home with just a solitary point to their name, unsurprisingly the worst record in the Premier League, and are the lowest scorers with nine goals in 12 games. Although there are mitigating circumstances, such as missing their influential captain Azamat Zasaev in midfield and iconic Nigerian forward Sylvester Igboun suffering from extensive international travel, the issues facing them are clear to see and head-coach Igor Kolyvanov had to make way for Yevgeni Perevertailo on Wednesday to turn things around amidst a reshuffle of the coaching staff.
While Krylia have only scored one goal more than Ufa, the outlook is much brighter in Samara with a wealth on international experience to call upon in attack after Adis Jahovic's return and Nicolas Canales waiting in the wings, not to mention Sergey Kornilenko still to recover. They were unfortunate to lose last week to a couple of late goals from Terek, but Krylia’s away form is still decent, with only one defeat on their travels since 1st August. The team have, however, only scored once in four league games, which is becoming a major concern for Frank Vercauteren. With opposition as porous as Ufa – who have conceded a league-high 21 goals –, Krylia should be comfortable but still need to overturn their own sluggish form, so I see a draw.
