Due Russe impegnate nell'Atlantic Cup

in questi giorni è iniziato questo torneo a 8 squadre, al quale partecipano anche Zenit e Lokomotiv, entrambe nel gruppo B. Nel primo turno Zenit-Broendby 2-0 (Shatov, Witsel) e Lokomotiv-Norrkopeing 1-1 (Skuletic) con successo svedese ai rigori.

lo Zenit vince il torneo, battendo ai rigori gli svedesi dell'Orebro, che erano arrivati secondi nel loro gruppo. Un torneo un po' ridicolo....leggete qua.

The 2016 edition was disputed in the same format of 2015 Atlantic Cup. The winner of Group A (FK Jablonec) didn't disputed the final due to the schedule of its flight back home, and was replaced by the runner-up, in the final game.

FC Zenit Saint Petersburg won the competition after penalty-shootout.
